Gilbert Leistner is a founder and Principal of Brightwater Training
LLC, and the CEO of The Leistner Group LLC. Mr. Leistner and his
firm have been active in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa, working
with governments, exchanges, and financial institutions to further
market-based policies for economic development, to establish cash market
and derivatives exchanges, and to formulate the strategies and products
to support them. Mr. Leistner remains an active trader in financial,
metal, equity and agricultural markets.
Mr. Leistner has been a member of the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange, the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the American
Stock Exchange. At the CBOT, he served on the Strategic Planning,
Market Development, Product Development, Floor Practices, and Education
Committees. At the CME, Mr. Leistner was a member of the Strategic
Planning and Financial Instrument Oversight Committees, and the Joint
Marketing Subcommittee.
Mr. Leistner has been a director of the CBOT Educational Research
Foundation, an adjunct instructor at the International Trading Institute
in Chicago, and an advisory board member of the International Association
of Financial Engineers. Mr. Leistner is currently a board member of Reef
Check Foundation, a world-wide coral reef monitoring and conservancy
organization where, in addition to organizational oversight, he provides

John Dempsey is a founder of Brightwater Training LLC and has
been involved in derivatives training and risk management software sales
worldwide for over 15 years. During this time he created and
delivered high level derivatives training for market makers, derivatives sales
teams and executive risk managers from twenty-four countries.
Mr. Dempsey has coordinated the establishment of a new US trading and
arbitrage operation for a Europe-based trading organization. Key
responsibilities included securing Resident Visa status for key
personnel, as well as compliance with requisite local legal, tax,
facility, banking, insurance, payroll and staffing needs.
Mr. Dempsey was a member of Senior Staff in the Office of the Chairman of
the New York Stock Exchange and also held the position of Managing
Director of Floor Development for the New York Futures Exchange.
Mr. Dempsey has served on the Board of Directors of the Student Chapter
of the Financial Management Association International, Inc (FMA) and an
Associate Editor of the Financial Management Collection which is
now the Contemporary Finance Digest. He has been a featured
speaker and Market Maker Training and Simulation workshop director at
Universities throughout the United States.
